Announced as Divinity, the game was showcased with a daring trailer that included intense imagery, from a figure engulfed in flames to scenes of revelry and the literal unleashing of hell.
A Different Direction
Anyone hoping for Divinity Original Sin 3, that is not happening. The studio warned that a direct sequel to its beloved RPGs is not currently in development.
However, the developer described this new Divinity as a evolution of the main series. This choice of words implies that the team could be designing a real-time experience as opposed to another tactical title. For now, it remains theory, as only a cinematic trailer is available.
